Not to say I won’t ever control Regibor with my foot, and not to say I didn’t use my foot during this filming, but actually in this case I built a special rig to hold Frank and Regibor upright with the appropriate spacing (pvc pipe, foam, a weighted box), and connected their strings with a rod. Pulling either side down operated one, pulling the middle operated both. It was a remarkably relaxed thing to shoot.
No, where I used my foot was to start up the monitor video. Which meant I had to align the cursor on the “play” button, then tape over the optical sensor, then tape the mouse to the floor, clicking the button with my toe. Not the most complicated foot maneuver in the history of the show.
